Experience & Expertise
Insight Change was founded by Dr Abbey Atkinson, bringing together extensive industry experience and a strong academic foundation in understanding people, organisations and the systems that shape them.
My PhD explored the complex relationships between career progression, equality and organisational culture, examining how societal, structural and cultural factors interact to influence outcomes.
Before establishing Insight Change, I spent nearly a decade working in financial services, developing a first-hand understanding of organisational challenges, commercial pressures and the realities of business.
Since then, my work has spanned multiple sectors, from financial services and construction to the equine industry and beyond, applying research expertise, critical analysis and strategic thinking to a diverse range of challenges.
My approach is immersive, inquisitive and collaborative. I take the time to understand the context, question established thinking and explore the less visible factors influencing outcomes. It's this combination of academic depth, commercial understanding and practical experience that shapes how I work.
